- Photometer Compatibility: Plastic test tubes are suitable for our Lumiso photometers, which work by measuring the percentage of light transmitted through the sample. However, plastic is more prone to scratches and stains, which can affect the amount of light transmitted through the sample, and therefore the accuracy.
- Replacement Frequency: To maintain accurate readings, replace plastic test tubes approximately every 2 months.
- Regular Inspection: Check for scratches or stains regularly and replace if any damage is found.
