This Metal Check colour test strip, from our SenSafe® brand allows for quick and accurate testing of metals in water. It detects Cadmium, Cobalt, Copper, Iron (ferrous), Lead, Mercury, Nickel, Zinc and other +2 valence metals.
This is a simple dip and read test that uses a very sensitive, non-specific indicator that detects common heavy metals that can cause concern.
This test can be used to detect metals in various water environments. The results are seen within 2 minutes and the colour chart is found on the back of the bottle - no other reagents or accessories are needed for this simple test. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous
