pH buffer solutions are used for regular calibration and control of pH electrodes. Regular calibration helps to determine the condition of the pH electrode and thus ensures accurate measurement results.
Depending on the deviation, cleaning of the electrode, maintenance or adjustment of the measuring system may be necessary.
Fresh pH buffer solutions should always be used for calibration. Lovibond® offers a variety of technical and NIST traceable buffer solutions with different tolerances and quantities.
