HI-98309 Water Purity Tester - Ultra Pure Water

The HI-98309 uses a conductometric measurement to determine the purity of water.

The HI-98309 Ultra Pure Water (UPW) is an ideal tester for high purity water, which has less conductivity.

UPW is the first pure water tester to measure in 1/1000ths of micro-Siemens (μS) and provides fast spot checks for minute traces of water contamination.

These testers are housed in a durable casing that provides excellent protection against harsh industrial environments.

Water resistant to IP65 these pocket testers can withstand being dropped accidentally into a liquid and are designed to float to aid retrieval, particularly useful when taking the measurement of a large body of water such as lakes or pools. They are not designed for full submersion and if you need a meter which can withstand immersion then please look for IP67 and IP68 rated meters in our range. However, for everyday use the IP65 rated Hanna pocket testers are well able to cope with wet and humid environments, passing rain showers when used outside and as we say, even an accidental dunking or two.
