To maintain safe and consistent hygiene standards, pH levels must be monitored and maintained throughout CIP and SIP processes.
This Hanna industrial pH probe has been specifically designed to be used for CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sterilise-In-Place) applications. CIP (Clean-In-Place) refers to an automated process that cleans equipment using water and detergents without requiring disassembly, whereas SIP (Sterilise-In-Place) employs high-temperature steam to sterilise equipment, eliminating micro-organisms typically after, but occasionally before, the CIP procedure.
This specialised electrode features a high temperature glass pH sensor, low maintenance gel electrolyte, and a rugged PVDF body with PG13.5 external thread for mounting.
Intended for industrial use when paired with the HI-510 or HI-520 Universal Process Controller, the system allows for shared management of settings between controller and probe. The probe manages temperature compensation and buffer calibration settings whereas the controller manages application settings defined by process requirements.
PTFE junction: Minimising the potential for clogging and chemically resistant, PTFE is ideal for samples with high content of suspended solids or for high-pressure installations.
