Hydrogen peroxide is activated by sunlight and without the need for additional materials, making it a good chemical for use in outdoor swimming pools. However, when using hydrogen peroxide, levels must be checked regularly as bright sunlight and high temperatures can lead to a rapid breakdown of the added hydrogen peroxide
