Blue Horizons Total Alkalinity Raiser 5kg is a high-quality chemical treatment specifically formulated to increase the total alkalinity in swimming pool and spa water. Maintaining the correct total alkalinity is essential for balanced water chemistry, which helps to prevent fluctuations in pH levels and ensures a safe, comfortable swimming environment.
If the total alkalinity of your pool water is below 80mg/l it should be increased using Blue Horizons TA Raiser. If the total alkalinity is low then the pH can fluctuate making it difficult to control and maintain at the ideal level.If the total alkalinity is high then the pH can be difficult to change and will keep rising. A high total alkalinity can also lead to the formation of bicarbonate/scale on pool surfaces, within pipework and in plant room equipment.
