The MD 100 range of Photometers are portable handheld instruments. A simple button layout, robust waterproof design and large backlit display make the MD 100 easy to use and ideal for testing in the field, laboratory or plant room.

The units supply accurate, reproduceable results using high quality interference filters with long-life LEDs as a light source.

Test results are automatically stored with time and date for later review, and can also be downloaded to a PC using an additional Infra Red interface.

Additional Features:

Scroll Memory (SM)
To avoid unnecessary scrolling for the required test method, the instrument memorises the last method used before switching off. When the instrument is switched on again, the last used test method is selected automatically.
Zero Setting (OTZ)
Certain instruments have a One Time Zero (OTZ) function, making it unnecessary to zero the instrument between each test. This allows multiple tests to be performed using the same blank/zero sample until a new parameter is selected.
Calibration Certificate
Beside the "Certificate of Compliance" which is supplied with the MD 100, calibration certificates are available at cost on request. Individually supplied per instrument and per method, The Calibration Certificate must be ordered on initial purchase of the instrument.
N.I.S.T Traceability
The instrument has a factory calibration, which is related to international standards which are not N.I.S.T traceable. The instrument may be calibrated by the user in a "user calibration mode" with N.I.S.T traceable standards.
(N.I.S.T. = National Institute of Standards and Technology)
Data transfer
The optional available IRiM (infra-red interface module) uses infra-red technology to transmit test data from the MD 100 to one of 3 interfaces. Data can be downloaded to a PC or directly printed using a USB printer or serial printer connected to the IRiM module.
The unit is supplied complete with data logging software providing easy and rapid transfer of data to the PC. Data can be saved as an Excel sheet or a .txt file.
Verification Standard Kit
The Verification Standard Kit for the MD 100 is designed to reassure the user about the accuracy and the reliability of the results.
The shelf life of the Verification standard kit is two years from the date of production, provided that storage and use are in accordance with the instructions provided.
