The Test All Water TTC/ROSE Dipslides are dual-purpose microbiological testing tools designed to provide rapid and reliable assessment of bacterial contamination in water systems. These dipslides combine the power of TTC (Tetrazolium Chloride) and Rose Bengal agar mediums to effectively monitor both total bacterial counts and mold/yeast levels.
Rose Bengal is a growth medium for yeasts, moulds and fungi. The Rose Bengal dye limits growth to allow easier enumeration, paired with Nutrient Agar with TTC, allows for convenient enumeration of aerobic bacteria. Chloramphenicol antibiotic additive ensures less interference from bacterial contamination. Nutrient Agar with TTC gives total viable count.
Colonies show up as red spots.
